There were 68 Gold Star Family members who attended, with 20 volunteers, 7 Air Force Academy Baseball players, all were heavily involved in fishing with the children, US Army Sergeant Major Mike Contreras, wife Jacquee and family, their oldest son Demetrius US Army and one other Soldier from Fort Carson, additionally, several returnee Veterans that made their way to volunteer once again. THANK YOU!. WW USA had the event lunch catered by Texas Roadhouse, plenty of food for everyone. There was recognition of 3 birthdays, and a birthday cake was presented. Thank you to the Survivor Outreach Services, Fort Carson Angela Gunn-Rivera, Supervisor and James Kilpatrick, Coordinator for allowing Wounded Warrior USA to help families of our fallen military.
